Refund and Returns Policy

At Manchester eBikes, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Every order is inspected and packed with care to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
If for any reason you’re not happy with your order, please review our policy below.

1. Eligibility for Returns

You can request a return or exchange if:

  • The item is unused, unridden, and in its original packaging.
  • You contact us within 14 days of delivery.
  • You can provide proof of purchase (order number or receipt).

Items that have been assembled, modified, or show signs of use may not be eligible for a full refund.

2. How to Request a Return

To start a return, please contact us at contact@manchesterebike.co.uk with the following details:

  • Your full name and order number.
  • The item(s) you wish to return.
  • A brief explanation (e.g., wrong item, damaged product, change of mind).

Once approved, we’ll provide you with return instructions and the return address.
Please do not send any items back without prior authorization.

3. Damaged or Faulty Items

If your e-bike or accessory arrives damaged or develops a fault within the warranty period:

  • Contact us immediately with clear photos or videos of the issue.
  • Our team will assess the problem and may offer a replacement part, repair, or full replacement depending on the situation.
  • If the issue is due to manufacturing defect, the return shipping cost will be covered by us.

Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorised repairs is not covered.

4. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • We’ll notify you by email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  • Shipping costs (where applicable) are non-refundable unless the item was defective or incorrectly supplied.

5. Exchanges

If you’d like to exchange a product for a different model or variant:

  • Contact us first to confirm stock availability.
  • Once your return is approved, send back the original item.
  • The replacement will be shipped after we receive and inspect the original product.

6. Non-Returnable Items

For safety and quality reasons, the following items cannot be returned once opened or used:

  • Batteries and electrical components.
  • Accessories showing signs of wear or installation.
  • Clearance or discounted items marked “Final Sale.”

7. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund after 10 business days:

  • Check your bank or card provider’s processing time.
